Complete Thyroid Evaluation
The Complete Thyroid Profile combines the four most clinically useful thyroid function tests, giving a thorough assessment of a patient’s thyroid function compared with monitoring TSH alone. The four thyroid hormones included in the complete thyroid profile are TSH, free T4, free T3 and TPO. Other thyroid markers can also be added in as needed. It is crucial to thyroid health to have all four hormones tested in order to have a true account of the thyroid. This blood test can be done alone or as part of more comprehensive hormone panel.
