Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups warm water
- 1 tsp whole cane sugar
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 1 tsp sea salt
- ¼ cup honey or agave nectar
- 2 tbsp melted virgin coconut oil or virgin olive oil
- 3 cups brown rice flour
- ½ cups tapioca four
- 2 tsp xanthan gum
Instructions:
- In a large bowl combine the warm water and sugar; add the yeast and whisk together until yeast is dissolved. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes, or until yeast begins to get foamy and bubbly.
- Add sea salt, honey ad oil; stir well.
- Add the brown rice flour, tapioca flour and xanthan gum; mix well with a wooden spoon. Continue to mix the dough with the spoon for another 1 to 2 minutes. Dough will still be a bit moist and sticky.
- Place dough into an oiled 9×5-inch bread pan and cover with waxed paper. Place pan in a very warm spot and let rise for about 60-70 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Remove waxed paper and bake for 35 to 45 minutes.
