Sweet and Sour Stir Fried Cabbage​

  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 large onion halved and sliced thin
  • 6 cups finely shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1/4 balsamic vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp caraway seeds
  • Salt to taste
  1. Sauté the onion in olive oil until soft. Add the cabbage and sauté until tender, about 3 minutes.
  2. Combine the other ingredients in a bowl. Add the mixture to the cabbage and stir through.
  3. Add salt to taste and serve hot or cold.
